ORDER ALTERNATIVE DAILY COVERAGE

Alternative coverage for landfills and dumps

It is difficult to manage small waste and control unpleasant odours at landfills and dumps. Waste is sent to landfills for biological treatment and sorting, which results is release of ammonia and hydrogen sulphide. It is this process that produces the pungent, unpleasant odour. The alternative daily coverage of the site with a special compound will reduce CO2 emissions, eliminate unpleasant odours, protect the site from insects, birds and animals, and prevent the spread of plastic bags to the surrounding area.

Types of coverage:

Daily – includes daily treatment of the area at the end of the working day;

Long-term – valid for up to 1.5 years.

Prices for services are negotiable.

DAILY COVERAGE

Reduces CO2 emissions, ensures gas control;

Protects the covered area from birds, insects and small animals;

Prevents lightweight polyethylene (PVC) bags from spreading around the area;

Reduces unpleasant odours;

Does not harm the environment.

LONG-TERM COVERAGE

Protects slopes against erosion;

Protects the covered area from birds, insects and small animals;

Prevents lightweight polyethylene (PVC) bags from spreading around the area;

Valid for up to 1.5 years.

ALTERNATIVE ROAD COVERAGE

Gravel and unpaved roads, especially in hot or dry seasons, create dust that can obstruct traffic. In addition, dust can spread into the nearby sites or the surrounding area, which will interfere with the normal operation of the site. In order to eliminate dust and ensure normal traffic conditions, the road surface is treated with a special compound that effectively absorbs fine particles and eliminates up to 90% of dust on sites and roads.

PROTECTING SLOPES AND DITCHES AGAINST EROSION

Adverse climate conditions, topography and human influence cause partial or total topsoil destruction, landslides and reduced soil fertility. The absence of vegetation, in turn, accelerates soil erosion processes and has a negative impact on the state of topsoil. Regardless of how a slope is formed, whether naturally or as a result of construction, all types of slopes may be exposed to erosion processes.

PROTECTING SOIL AND TOPSOIL AGAINST EROSION IN STEEP AREAS

Coverage for the purpose of protection of soil against erosion on slopes and in steep areas.

Water
Forms as a result of snow melting and precipitation.
Wind
Caused by wind currents;

Key measures to protect topsoil:

Terracing of slopes
One of the effective ways to protect soil against water erosion is by terracing slopes – creating small areas on the slope surface in the form of steps. Terracing reduces rainfall runoff, speed of runoff and the runoff level of valuable soil to the base of the slope.
Protection of steep areas
Protecting topsoil against erosion contributes to the destruction of slopes. If the slope is steep enough, ploughing it up and down is not allowed; to protect the topsoil from erosion, ploughing should be carried out across the slope. This provides a water-retaining and water-protecting effect.
Green manuring
Ploughing in plants is an effective solution for protecting slopes against water erosion. The soil is enriched with useful organic matter and its water and wind resistance is increased. Green manure also reduces nutrient leaching and keeps nutrients in the fertile layer.
